Vintage Dutch is a powerhouse Jazz, Soul, and Funk outfit straight from the Netherlands, born in 2019 from the mind of Paul Jonker, who’s made waves with The Tibbs and Elsa Bekman. With almost 20 years on the scene and a track record of tearing it up with different bands, Jonker decided it was time to launch something new, something that would embody his own musical vision.

Our sound is a fiery mix of jazz, soul, and funk—the beats that move us and the genres we’ve grown up with. But Vintage Dutch isn’t just about the music; it’s a connection, a shared vibe that bridges us with our fans and the world. Soul and jazz aren’t meant to sit still; they’re meant to be felt, danced to, and lived, and that’s exactly what drives us forward.

Inspired by soul legends like Sly and the family stone, Billie Holiday, and James Brown, we’re carving out our own path in the music world. We honor classic soul, but we’re no tribute act—we’re pushing boundaries and mixing it up, always searching for new ways to bring soul to life with a fresh twist.

After a year of intense rehearsal and rocking stages across borders, Vintage Dutch dropped our debut album *In My Own Voice* in October 2021, and the response was electric. People felt the fusion of vintage soul and modern edge, and it put us on the map.

Now, we’re deep into our next chapter. The second album is on its way, and we’re fired up to bring something even bolder to the stage. For us, it’s just the beginning—Vintage Dutch is here to keep surprising, keep evolving, and keep the groove alive.
